W.A.T.C.H. OUT! These craft kits, sold from April 2007 through November 2007, contain small, colored beads, with which children can create multi-dimensional designs. Over four million of these toys were recalled on November 7, 2007. The recall notice references at least “two reports ... of children swallowing Aqua Dots” and temporarily “slipping into a comatose state”, requiring hospitalization. The recall notice further states that the coating on the beads “contains a chemical that can turn toxic when many are ingested.” Toys with toxic chemicals should never be sold.
